My Bio
Michelle is a writer, teacher, and mentor bridging the mystical and the practical. A former product executive and startup founder, she explores where inner transformation meets outer creation, drawing on Human Design, Gene Keys, and timeless wisdom teachings to illuminate how consciousness shapes the way we live and create.
Her writing weaves in universal wisdom with her own lived experience, offering readers a lens for seeing the deeper patterns beneath people, systems, and moments we’re living through. She is also the creator of Portraits of Becoming, a series of written portraits of women creators who have made extraordinary transitions and remain deeply engaged in their creative work.
She is an official Gene Keys Guide and hosts small-group Golden Path retreats. She has studied Human Design in depth through the professional analyst training and is a Living Your Design Guide certified by the International Human Design School (IHDS).
Before the inner transformation that led her here, Michelle spent more than 25 years in tech as an engineer, product leader, marketing executive, and startup founder, in both corporations and startups at every stage. That experience grounds her mysticism in the real world.
She serves on the board of Berkeley Haas Women in Leadership Alumnae, sponsors the Women Founders Network, and mentors founders and leaders, while remaining active in venture investing — bringing a perspective that holds vision, strategy, and spirit together.
Her background also includes extensive training and practice in professional coaching. She is an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC), a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), and a Certified Practitioner of Women-Centered Coaching and Group Facilitation, and she is trained in Systemic Coaching and Family Constellation.
She holds an MBA from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business, an MS in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University, and a BS in Electronics Engineering from Tsinghua University.
She lives in Los Altos, California, with her husband, two teenagers, and a golden retriever. She is an avid reader of non-fiction and loves nature and travel.
More of her professional background is on LinkedIn, and her writing can be found at Inner Correspondence on Substack.
